Editing prices are subject to annual increases to account for cost of living changes.
Editing service fees
Manuscript review: $0.015 per word. A 50,000-word project = $750
Structural edit: $0.03 per word. A 50,000-word project = $1250
Full content edit: $0.045 per word. A 50,000-word project = $2500
Authenticity read: 0.01 per word. A 50,000-word project = $500
If you would like an edit but feel it is out of your budget, please book a free consultation and we can discuss adjusting the editing service and fee to something that works.
All book editing fees are calculated on a per word basis in Canadian dollars. A flat fee may be charged instead depending on the complexity and/or length of the project (e.g. if it is too long or quite short), or if a custom package is requested.
A 7% administration and management fee will be charged in addition to the total cost of the service provided. This covers the time, effort, and resources that go into project-related communications, scheduled meetings, time tracking, and invoicing.
